What's Dan Writing?
Don't I wish I could tell you. This question has become increasingly difficult to answer since I started working for Dragonsteel, where everything is secret. I am revising two different books right now, each of them very very different from the other. What I can tell you is that I've started writing poetry again--I used to write poems all the time in elementary and high school, and then for whatever reason I got out of the habit. A month or so ago I decided to get back into the habit, and it's been a blast. I'm mostly just noodling around, trying to find styles and voices that I like. I'll share some of it some day.

What's Dan Reading?
I am reading Death on the Caldera by Emily Paxman. I like it so far. It's a murder mystery on a train in a fantasy world, and some of the characters are incredibly fun and compelling.

What Does Dan Recommend?
​In a recent sale on Steam I stumbled across a game called Isonzo, which is a multiplayer shooter about the Italian campaign in WWI. It reminds me of the original Battlefield games, in that it is a little slower-paced and strategic instead of just run-and-gun twitch gaming. My old man reflexes definitely prefer a slower game :) Two teams fight over massive battlefields, trying to take and hold control points. There are several different classes to play as, each with unique powers like being able to build defenses or spot the enemy. I really dig it.
